Why did the minister of land management come to the discussion of the education bill?

After the resignation of Education, Science and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai, Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Minister Balram Adhikari participated in the weekly discussion on the School Education Bill.

Education Secretary Deepak Kafle said that the bill was discussed in the presence of ministerial officials. The sub-committee under the Parliament's Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is continuing to discuss the School Education Bill.

The deadline for submission of report to the sub-committee has been fixed till May 23 . "In the absence of the Minister of Education, the Prime Minister's Office has given the responsibility to the Minister of Land Management to proceed with the discussion on the bill," Secretary Kafle said.

Bhattarai resigned on Monday due to dissatisfaction and non-cooperation with the Prime Minister as the teachers' movement intensified. Resignation is shown for health reasons . She proposed a 7-point proposal to the Cabinet to address some of the teachers' demands. But the officials of the Ministry of Education say that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel resigned after not being positive to the proposal.

Lately, although the teachers' movement has been intensifying, it has been seen that there is a lack of coordination between the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education.
