The Communist Party of Nepal, which is divided into more than a dozen divisions, has emphasized unity by celebrating the CPN Foundation Day in its own way. Leaders of the Communist Party in various branches of the CPN have said that revolution is possible only through Communist unity.

Although CPN UML, Maoist Center, CPN United Socialist Party and Nepal Communist Party held meetings, some other parties celebrated the CPN Foundation Day by issuing statements. Commemorating the day of establishment of CPN on May 9, 2006 in Nepal, the communist parties here have been celebrating 'NCP Establishment Day'.

Under the leadership of Pushpalal Shrestha, Niranjan Gobind Vaidya, Nar Bahadur Karmacharya, Narayan Vilas Joshi and Motidevi Shrestha formed the CPN in Kolkata, India. The first congress of CPN elected Manmohan Adhikari as the General Secretary.

On January 10, 2010, the convention held underground in Patan, Lalitpur decided to institutionalize the achievements of the 2007 movement and move forward. Founder Chairman Shrestha was ranked second. Since then, it is believed that the seeds of division have been planted in the CPN.

After that, a series of divisions has been going on in the CPN . CPN UML has become the largest party, carrying the legacy of Manmohan Adhikari, the first general secretary of CPN, while the party of Mohan Vikram Singh, who was a central member in the second congress of CPN in 2014, is active as a "mini-communist" party.

The trend of always talking about unity but never being able to meet has been continuous until the recent division of CPN (February 2077) and then UML (August 2078). After 2048, preparing for an armed war, the Maoists who took up arms in February 2052 have split into 10 factions.

The UML, led by the government, held a grand meeting at Pragya Foundation on Tuesday and celebrated the foundation day of the CPN. President KP Sharma Oli also claimed that UML will be the decisive party in the 2084 election saying that UML is responsible for advancing the communist movement.

The Maoists, who joined the opposition last June, celebrated the establishment day by holding a small meeting at the central office courtyard in Pesidanda. The United Socialist Party of Nepal, which split from the UML, celebrated the Foundation Day of the National Party with a cultural program at the National Dance Hall at the One Party Palace and the Communist Party, which split from the Maoists.

The leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal have been promoting the communist unity as a regular process, but it cannot last for a long time.

Mani Thapa, an independent left-wing leader who separated from the UML, said that it is not new for the communist parties of Nepal to talk about unity. "It is not a new thing for the communists here to talk about unity," he said, "sometimes they meet, sometimes they break up. It has become a continuous process here." But that unity lasted only until February 2077. The main reason for the split of the CPN, which won about two-thirds majority in the 2074 election, was the power struggle between the two presidents, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Rishi Kattel against the CPN, which was formed as a unity between UML and Maoist, demanded the cancellation of the last CPN, saying that the CPN was already registered.

On the CPN Foundation Day on Tuesday, Prime Minister and UML President Oli mentioned that his party was the only one to advance the communist movement and said that Maoist Chairman Dahal and United Socialists Chairman Madhav Kumar were in favor of disintegration and division of Nepal .

He criticized both leaders as jealous, driven by others, intolerant and jealous leaders. "This is the power that does not allow the Communist Party to unite," he said. Oli called those who broke the UML as criminals. When

arrived in 2007, we established the Communist Party as a power for almost two-thirds. In the history of Nepal, such a strong power did not appear. Some jealous people, intolerant because of some manipulated puppets, those who are envious did not allow the Communist Party to unite, another type of dispute without unity, and finally split the party by adopting a policy,' Oli said, 'We will make the party that has reached two-thirds, even if we search with torches, we will make it impossible to find. Someone stayed in leadership for 13 years, someone for 15 years . He sat in the leadership of this party. He thought that he would end this party in a shameless manner. The criminal instinct prevailed by trying to kill the mother who grew up by sucking her mother's milk. Discussing the history of the Communist Party, he said that the communist movement has reached its current state amid division and sacrifice, and said that unity is needed. Today's need is to unite the communists again. We want unity on the ideological basis of ideas, principles and true communists,' he said, 'We are in the process of correcting our weaknesses by reaching out to the people.' Ghanshyam Bhusal, General Secretary of the United Socialist Party, said that on the day of the establishment of the CPN, the UML should demand an accounting from President Oli.

'The situation of the country is like this . Now I love you KP Ba, Comrade KP Oli should give an account of the movement, don't we have to say, give an account of the dissolution of the party and the dissolution of the parliament?' He said that he was busy enjoying the Maoist republic and said, 'Maoist brought us the republic . They argue that we will also bear the brunt of it.'

In 2077, the next year after the CPN was split, in August 2078, the UML split and the CPN Unified Socialist Party was formed. This is the latest breakthrough in the communist movement. Currently, UML and United Socialists are existing in the Parliament .

Maoist, which came to peaceful politics from armed war and became the largest party in 2064, has reached the third party in the general election after many splits.

In December 2065, the party was united between CPN (Maoist) and CPN (Ekta Kendra Masal) under the leadership of Narayankaji Shrestha. The name of the party was changed to Unified CPN (Maoist).

The party led by Dahal since 2045 formally split in 2069 . The senior vice president Mohan Vaidya formed another party expressing his disagreement with the establishment of the constitution and the peace process.

Dahal is the president of the Maoist Center, Vaidya is the general secretary of the revolutionary Maoists, Netravikram Chand is the general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal, and Baburam Bhattarai is the president of the Nepal Samajwadi Party (New Shakti). Nepal Communist Party (Majority) has Dharmendra Bastola as its general secretary, Scientific Socialist Communist Party has Ahuti as its general secretary, and Aam Janata Party has Prabhu Shah as its president. In the Maoist Communist Party, Ram Narayan Pal is the general secretary and Gopal Kiranti is the coordinator of the Third People's Movement in Nepal. Other parties are also registered in the Election Commission under the name of Maoists.

CP Mainali, which was formed by CPN-Ma under the leadership of Vamdev Gautam after separating from UML in 2054, is still in the same party. Gautam returned to UML after four years. Mainali is the general secretary and does not exist in the parliament .
