To show the impact of climate change, an 'Arohi Sammelan' has been organized at the Thame of Solukhumbu at an altitude of 3800 meters. The conference was held on the occasion of Earth Day on 9th Baisakh and with the cooperation of the foundation and the three levels of government.

Defense Minister Manvir Rai, Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, Everest climber Princess Asma Al Thami of Qatar, Nepal's famous climbers Kamirita Sherpa, Mingma David Sherpa, young climber Temwachiri Sherpa, Maya Gurung and others participated in the conference.

President of the foundation Prajita Karki informed that the conference was organized to show the effect of climate change in the Thame area due to the floods that occurred in Thame last July.

Similarly, she informed that the Everest Summit to be held in Kathmandu on May 2, 3 and 4, along with the foundation, and on the eve of the summit, a climbing conference program was organized in Thame to show the risk of climate change. 

This event was co-organized by the Association, Koshi Provincial Government and Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality of Solukhumbu.
