Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that some important programs will be decided for the welfare of Nepali workers who are employed abroad.
Inaugurating 'Nepal Festival 2025' in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, he said that the health problem of migrant workers is a matter of concern and he will bring some programs to solve it.
'Your health is also a matter of concern for us. We are working on how to return to the country healthy, he said. He informed that the government has made arrangements so that citizens can get health benefits through telemedicine even when they are abroad, so that the expensive health tests that have to be paid for while traveling abroad will be done at a reasonable price in the government hospitals. "Even during my visit to UAE, I have asked for support and cooperation for the development of Nepal's health sector," he said.
Since Nepal is a country full of natural beauty and cultural splendor, he requested to create an environment for the citizens of the United Nations to visit Nepal at least once.
