4 people including the driver died in a tractor accident on Sunday night in Palanta Rural Municipality-2 Larf of Kalikot.

A tractor carrying retail and food grains from Palanta Rural Municipality-9 Thirpu to Khin Chhala met with an accident at a place called Raduneta Larf at 11:30 pm.

District Police Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat said that four people including the driver were killed in the accident. 25-year-old driver Chandra Prakash Rokaya of Mugu Khatyad-5 house, 26-year-old Amba Shahi of Palanta-5, 21-year-old Sadu Budha of Palanta-4, 21-year-old Rabindra Bik of Palanta-4 died in the accident.

DSP Rawat informed that a team led by senior constable Gagan Rawat from Kahardeo Asthai police post went to the spot in the night. According to him, the number of the tractor has not been revealed as it has been erased. The blue book has not been found either. The engine of the tractor has fallen 200 meters below the road and the trolley has fallen 600 meters below the ravine.
