Three leaders of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, including Rajendra Lyngden, have been arrested. Police arrested Lingden along with Senior Vice President Wise Tamang and Chief Whip Gyanendra Shahi after protesting inside the Singh Darbar.
After leaving the meeting at the office of the parliamentary party, they demonstrated with pamphlets. Initially, they entered the office of the party saying that they had work, and after a while they came out demonstrating and were detained by the police.
RP MP Deepak Bahadur Singh said that they have been arrested and they are continuing their demonstration in the electricity market. He said that the state is trying to suppress the voice of the people.
