Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden commented that the government was afraid even when it was about to hold a peaceful demonstration.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had issued a warning on Saturday regarding the demonstration held today. On Sunday morning, President Lingden, writing his views on the social network Facebook, mentioned that there is no need for the government to be afraid of the peaceful demonstration. He says that to say
is democracy, democracy, republic, but setting limits by telling the people to only say so much, come this far, is seen as despotism.
He has said, 'This is a symbolic and peaceful demonstration against the government autocracy that calls people democracy, democracy, republic, but only says this to the people, and only walks this way, and does not come an inch from here.'
President Lingden has informed that only limited leaders will participate. They said that the government should not be afraid because they will do what they want to do.
He has said before, 'From an ideological point of view, RPP is the main opposition party in the country, we do what we want to do. The government should not be afraid.'
