Two people died in Udaipur and Palpa. Police said that 48-year-old Ramkumar Thapamgar of Udaipur Triyuga Municipality-14 Pungmang and 65-year-old Krishna Bahadur Chidi of Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-1 Pipartung of Palpa, who had gone to worship from home on Friday, fell and died while cutting grass from a chiuri tree near their house at 11:30 am.
Locals saw Magar dead and reported to the police station. The body of the deceased Magar was brought to the district hospital for post-mortem and the incident is being investigated, said Hariharnath Yogi, District Police Office, Udaipur.
Similarly, Chidi went to a relative's house in Chirtungdhara for worship and did not return in the evening. Locals along with teams from the police station searched. Information Officer of District Police Office Sunil Malla said that during the search, he was found dead after falling into Foxihar river from Bhir, 300 meters west of the house.
He said that the body was sent to Palpa Hospital for post-mortem and further investigations are being conducted on the incident.
