Rain with thunder and lightning is likely at one/two places in Koshi and Bagmati regions today. According to the Weather Forecast Division, it will remain partly to mostly cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions, while the rest of the region will remain mainly clear.

It has been raining in Kathmandu Valley since morning. Today, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki states. 

In the evening, it will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions, while the remaining areas will be mainly clear to partly cloudy. 

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in few places of Koshi province, Bagmati province and Gandaki province and in one/two places of hilly terrain of Karnali province, the department said. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one/two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali regions.
