Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has made it clear that there is no problem in the government and the alliance. While leaving after the meeting of the ruling partner party held on Wednesday night, he said that the rumor that there was a problem in the government was not true.

He said that there was no need to comment on what some leaders had said about the government as it was a 'personal matter'. He made it clear that regular meetings of the working group and the mechanism have been held with the two top leaders. 

The home minister writer also says that now is not the time to blame the work of the government. He said that the government is serious about how to advance and pass the school education bill. He clarified that this session will focus on finalizing the school education bill. 

The meeting of the working group and the mechanism was called when the top and influential leaders of the ruling party Congress have been protesting about the work and working style of the government. Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka and General Minister Gagan Thapa did not participate in today's mechanism meeting. Sources in the Prime Minister's Secretariat said that leader Khadka did not participate in the meeting due to his health and General Minister Thapa was late in coming to Kathmandu from outside the valley. 

Today's meeting was attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, UML Senior Vice President Ishwar Pokharel, Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba, Home Minister Ramesh Ukhar, UML Secretary General Shankar Pokharel and Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal.
