The meeting of the management committee held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 3 has made 18 decisions for the successful completion of the dialogue. The committee has decided to finalize the updated agenda for dialogue and inform the invited guests.
Chairman of the Managing Committee and Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has instructed to pay attention to the smallest things to organize the dialogue. In addition, the vice-chairman of the committee, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, said that the ministry would assist in organizing the dialogue successfully.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Forests, Deepak Kumar Kharal, said that a meeting of the management committee was held to inform the progress made so far and to decide what is needed more for the dialogue project. The
committee is responsible for managing and disbursing the budget required to organize the dialogue, editing the role of the speaker in the dialogue, organizing the team as needed to welcome and entertain the guests participating in the dialogue, and allowing the support of foreign and non-governmental organizations.
The committee has decided that at least 50 volunteers will be mobilized for the Everest dialogue program and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will purchase the services of two technical personnel and assign them to the propaganda media coordination committee to assist in the propaganda work of the dialogue. In addition, it has been decided to request the government and private media for wide publicity of the dialogue, to coordinate the security management of the participants in the dialogue, to make the necessary decisions while organizing the dialogue and to inform the management committee about it.
