The Council of Ministers has decided to form a working group of three secretaries to prepare an action plan for the implementation of the report submitted by the High-Level Economic Reforms Suggestion Commission.
Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday decided to form a working group under the coordination of the Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, Chudamani Paudel, to make an action plan with dates for the implementation of the report.
It has been decided to form a task force to make a work plan with details on how the recommendations of the report should be implemented by which ministries and agencies, and by what date they should be implemented, he said. It is said that the working group will make an action plan within seven days to implement the recommendations in the Commission's report.
The commission formed under the coordination of former Finance Secretary Rameshwar Khanal submitted a report to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel last Friday. In the report, there are various proposals including the need to review the exchange rate with India to open investment abroad to Nepalis.
