The Revenue Investigation Department has filed a case of Rs 1 crore revenue evasion against a hardware businessman in Bhairahawa. After the investigation by the Revenue Investigation Office, the department filed a case in the Tulsipur Butwal High Court on Tuesday.
Vivek, Head of Revenue Investigation Office, Butwal, filed a case against Jogendra Agrahari, the proprietor of Sundar Hardware and Plywood, with a demand of Rs. Ghimire said.
Agrahari has been operating Sundar Hardware and Plywood near Siddharth Nagar Municipality-8 Lumbini Gate in Rupandehi. The Revenue Investigation Office found that there was a leakage of revenue from the business of shops and godowns during the search and investigation at the said place of business.
Determining that Agrahari has committed an offense of revenue leakage under Section 4 (g) and (j) of the Revenue Leakage (Investigation and Control) Act 2052, the office imposed a fine of Rs. The office has reported that Rs. The

It is mentioned in a statement released by Krishna Kumari Shrestha, spokesperson and deputy director general of the revenue investigation department that the case has been filed in the court after the investigation of businessman Agrahari.
