A charge sheet has been filed against two people for smuggling foreign currency worth around 25 million rupees seized from Tokha in Kathmandu. The Revenue Investigation Department has filed a charge sheet against Kusang Lama and Narayan Paudel, also known as Fuchche of Sindhupalchok Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality, who are also drivers of the truck.

Court information officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha informed that a case was registered against them under the Foreign Regulation Act in Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday and a claim of Rs.

Paudel is out of touch soon after the euro and dollar were recovered. An arrest warrant has been issued against Paudel by the court.

Kusang Lama was arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office on Chait 4 with 13 lakh 75 thousand 150 Euros and 3 lakh 20 thousand 850 US dollars, which were to be smuggled from Rasuwagadhi to Kerung, China, hidden in the "false bottom" of the truck. Lama was handed over to the Revenue Investigation Department by the police along with the recovered foreign currency and the truck bearing No. 7 B 1652.
