Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the functioning of the government led by KP Sharma Oli should be monitored. Leader Koirala says that Congress will be in trouble if the government is not alerted.

In a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, Koirala expressed the view that despite the participation of the party in the government, questions should be kept. He said that since the main competitor of the Congress is the UML, the party should continue to warn the Oli-led government. 'In this government, we are also in the government. I have said one thing, we are in power but not in government. Because our competitor is UML anywhere. We are now moving forward in collaboration with UML. I am not calling it bad,' he said, 'we should keep alerting if this government is doing something wrong or deficient. If they don't do that, the Congress will be in trouble.' Koirala also says that the government has not been able to provide good governance. "Even if there is no good governance, let's not be stingy to get good governance. I am not talking about corruption. Impunity has increased. I believe that we can move forward by controlling this matter," he said.

Koirala also said that the Constitution should be amended according to the agreement reached between Congress and UML when forming the government under the leadership of Oli. He also said that if there is a delay in amending the constitution, there will be more protests in the streets. 'This government has talked about three things, especially amending the constitution, let's not delay it now. The longer the delay, the more angry the road will be,' he said.

Congress should consider UML as a competitor. He said that it is important to think ahead with UML as it is a competitor of the future.

Similarly, Koirala said that there is a danger that America's tariff policy will be bigger than the third world war.
