Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri has said that Nepal's vegetation should be studied and researched and managed more.

Addressing the program organized on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Department of Botany and the 26th Botany Day, Minister Shahi said that there are plants in Nepal that cannot be found in the world and that they should be protected. In the program, he said that Nepal has created its own identity with different species, air, natural resources, and land structure. 

Minister Thakuri said that if the plants in Nepal can be studied and researched and managed and developed more, it will prove to be important for the country's prosperity. 

'Nepal is a country of various species, our very good air, natural resources, land-texture, Nepal's own identity, land-texture, Nepal is a country of many species of flowers, plants,' he said, 'not only in his country but also at the international level through research and through his research and research. In the coming days, the Department of Botany will succeed in bringing forward many things related to plants.' 

Minister Shahi has said that there are more than 300 plant resources in Nepal and it is necessary to revive them.
