A motorcyclist died in a collision with a truck in Kailali.

In Ghodaghori Municipality-2 Tanakpur of the district, at 8:40 on Thursday night, the motorcycle number SE 5 P 6944 was stopped on the side of the road when a mini truck number SE 1 B 1268 coming from the same direction hit it from behind.

The deceased is 45-year-old Amar Bam of Gauriganga Municipality-8 in Kailali. He was seriously injured and was taken to Ghodaghodi hospital for treatment, but he died at 9:30 pm, police said.

The truck driver, 35-year-old Delhiraj Punmagar of Chure Rural Municipality-5, along with the truck and motorcycle are under the control of the police. District Police Office Kailali informed that further investigation of the incident is underway.
