With the increase in air pollution, the sale of air purifiers that purify the air by processing dust particles has started to increase. Salit Maharjan, an employee of Clean Air Store in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, said that he has sold 100 air purifiers in the last one week.
Clean Air Store has air purifiers in the shop ranging from 22 thousand to 1 lakh. Salit said that they have an air purifier of Swedish brand Blue Air worth up to 96,000. Swechha Shrestha, an employee of Clean Air, said that since there is no place for air to flow inside the room, the air becomes polluted 5 times more than outside, and said that the purifier helps to clean the air inside the room by processing the particles in the air.
Ashok Rana, the owner of Sriram Electronics in Bhaktapur, shared his experience of having customers come to him every day to ask about air purifiers and buy them. He said that he has been selling up to four air purifiers every day for the past few days. Those with asthma, dust allergies, Stating that the elderly and those with children are trying to buy air purifiers, he said that it processes the contaminated air and releases clean air.
Birendra Shrestha of Kaushaltar was upset due to increasing air pollution and came to Sriram Electronics to understand about air purifiers. He was understanding about this because he heard that air purifier cleans polluted air. He said, 'I had to pay money for clean air as well.' Bisht Bisht Air Purifier will give some relief for the time being if this is not a long-term solution . He said that due to the recent air pollution, it will cause the problem of allergies, cause black smoke and because of allergies in the lungs, it will further affect the asthma patients .
