Peaceful demonstration of RPP

RPP held a peaceful demonstration in Balkhu, Kathmandu on Tuesday. In the meeting held after the demonstration, the speaker demanded a new understanding from the republican to the king.

Chairman Rajendra Lingden said that his party is in favor of a system that can hold everyone from the republican to the king. "Let's combine some of the good things of yesterday and the good things of the present system, where there should be no republicanism from the king," he said.

On Chait 15, the royalist demonstration turned violent. In the assembly held on Tuesday in Balkhu, RPP mobilized volunteers to prevent any violent incident. Party President Lingden alleged that state terror was created in the meeting held in Tinkune. "The state provoked violence in a well-planned manner, 2 people died, many were injured, there is no accounting for it. There is no account of the physical damage,' he said, 'the home minister and the police chief are responsible for that.'

He also demanded the formation of a judicial commission for the impartial investigation of the three-corner incident and the release of Rabindra Mishra and Dhaval Shameshar as soon as possible. Senior leader Pashupatishamsher Rana, the former president of the party, said that the country was opposed to the 2046 political agreement as a republic and secularism. Another senior leader, Prakashchandra Lohani, alleged that those who became rulers after winning the votes of the people showed the tendency of Ravana. MP and chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi warned that if there is an attempt to arrest the leaders of his party with false cases, they will surround the houses of the leaders.
