Competition between Gelal and Gurung factions in Manpower Professionals Association elections

For the upcoming tenure of the Nepal Foreign Employment Professionals Association, there will be an election contest between the panel led by manpower businessman Naresh Gelal and Bhuvansingh Gurung.

In the 30th Congress of the Union, which is going to be held in Kathmandu on March 29, there is going to be an election contest between the two parties. A joint panel has been formed under the leadership of Gelal on behalf of the Progressive Foreign Employment Professionals Forum, which is close to the UML, the dissatisfied side of the Nepal Democratic Foreign Employment Professionals Association, which is close to the Congress, and the Integrated Foreign Employment Professionals Organization.

A joint panel has been formed under the leadership of Gurung on behalf of the Nepal Democratic Foreign Employment Professionals Association close to the Congress and the Republican Foreign Employment Professionals Forum close to the Maoists. Both sides of the Congress close association have been claiming their respective panels as the official candidates of the Congress.

In the 29th Congress, Gurung made a rebel candidacy against the then president of the association, Kumud Khanalka, the official candidate of the Congress for the post of president. UML's Rajendra Bhandari was elected during the competition between Gurung and Khanal.

The Khanal group has sent its candidate to the election field under the leadership of Gelal without setting up a separate panel. Sujit Kumar Shrestha, who nominated for the first vice president of the Gelal group on behalf of the Congress, said that they have formed a single group between the parties that are power partners.

Gelal, the former secretary general of the Nepal Foreign Employment Professionals Association, said that the issues to be worked on by his panel were prioritized for the benefit of both workers and businessmen. "We will remove the mandatory requirement to send 100 people in manpower license renewal. We will work towards the implementation of scientific service fees from the ease of verifying the demand letter," he said, "we will facilitate the issue of going to new labor destinations in European countries. We will pay attention to the skill development of the workers. Deepak Thapa, president of the

association, claimed that Gurung's panel is the official candidate of the Congress.

The former Second Vice President of Nepal Foreign Employment Professionals Association Gurung said that they will not allow monopoly under any cover. "I will work as a servant and not as a leader of businessmen." We will coordinate with all parties to solve the problems in this area,' he said, ``Syndicates will not be allowed in this area under any cover.'' According to Meghnath Bhurtel, the general secretary of the association, 900  3 representatives will be able to vote. This is two hundred people more than the previous convention.
