Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has spoken about his visit to India against diplomatic etiquette.

Answering the questions of MPs in the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday, Chief Minister Singh made it clear that he was not on a state visit to India but visiting his relatives. He also said that he went on a religious visit and not on an official visit.

He said that he went to India with the aim of connecting tourism with Ayodhya. According to him, in-laws and relatives are in India. Kapilvastu is a relative of the Chief Minister. He said that while going to visit the temple which is 15 minutes away from there, he met with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath.

He claimed that in the past too, the Kayan minister visited India without the permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
