The government of Nepal is sending relief materials to the people who suffered from the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a chartered plane of Nepal Airlines is taking off on Wednesday morning with 41 tons of relief materials.
Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Krishna Dhakala informed that the relief materials include food, medicines, tarpaulins, tents, rags, and essential items including kitchen items. Earlier, Nepal sent a team of doctors to Myanmar last week. The medical team of the Nepali Army is scheduled to serve there from April 2 to April 10.
A team including Foreign Affairs Joint Secretary Tapas Adhikari, Surendra Kumar Yadav and Home Joint Secretary Tokaraj Pandey is going to go with the relief materials. A powerful earthquake occurred in Myanmar on 15th Chaitra. There was a huge loss of property due to the earthquake.
