RPP has organized a demonstration and general meeting in Balkhu on Tuesday. Chairman Rajendra Lingden and other top leaders are scheduled to address the meeting.

Earlier on Chait 15th, the meeting held by the Joint People's Movement Committee led by Navraj Subedi in Tinkune did not start and violence broke out. That is why the security system has been tightened in Balkhu area on Tuesday.

Security has been tightened at the Congress office and Bhatbhateni near Balkhun. RPP has said that the demonstration and meeting will be held peacefully.

The party has also said that volunteers have been mobilized to prevent intrusion into the meeting. However, the businessmen around the meeting place have closed their shutters.
