Nepali Congress leader NP Saud has requested the government to immediately address the legitimate demands of the teachers.
Supporting the ongoing teachers' movement in the federal capital, he requested the government to meet the teachers' just demands through the social network Facebook.
'Education is the basis of the country's prosperity, the progress of the country is not possible without the improvement of education,' Saud wrote, 'Ensuring quality education is possible only with satisfied teachers. Therefore, solving the problems of teachers and employees should not be delayed in taking the country to the direction of prosperity.'
Saud has also expressed his commitment to always be with teachers regarding the improvement of community education and the just demands of teachers and employees.
Teachers are protesting against some points of the school education bill. They have warned that if they do not improve the bill, they will go into a serious struggle with the government.
While the subject committee of the Federal Parliament is discussing the School Education Bill, people active in the education sector are pointing out the need to pay serious attention to the demands of the teachers who are protesting against some of the provisions of the bill.
