Chitra Bahadur KC, president of Rashtriya Jan Morcha, said that democracy and republic should be protected. KC, who is also a member of the House of Representatives, said at the meeting of the State Order and Good Governance Committee held at Singhdarbar on Friday that the republic is not safe even with the Three Corners incident.

He also says that the incident that took place on March 15 in Tinkune was done with the intention of ending democracy and republic. He said that although there is a provision in the constitution that disagreements in the constitution can be removed by referendum, anarchy is being done in a hostile manner. KC also said that the government should be alert to the hostile movement and to end the system in the name of protest.

'The kind of incident that happened in a place so close to the Ministry of Home Affairs, in a place close to the security agencies, it was not good. The relief given by the government to the victims is a good thing. Democracy and republic are not safe if we look at the Three Corners incident. We should all be cautious,' he said. He insists that the door of development in the country will not be opened without abolishing the

province. 'Now I myself am also in the movement. I have told the government that the province will not be  . Ever since the constitution was made, Janamorcha has not called the province,' he said.
