The Ministry of Forests and Environment has canceled 12 guidelines and procedures. The ministry has canceled six guidelines and six procedures.
According to the notice issued by the ministry, the guidelines and procedures that were approved and implemented on various dates have been revoked. According to the decision of the Council of Ministers on April 17, the ministry has informed that the guidelines and procedures have been revoked based on timeliness, necessity and justification.
Among the repealed guidelines are the Sunakhari Collection and Farming Development (Procedures) Guidelines, 2069, District Forest Area Coordinating Committee Formation and Operations Guidelines, 2068, Private Forest Development Guidelines, 2068, Guidelines for Obtaining Services from Non-Government Service Providers, 2061, Research Procedures, 2069 and Forest Development Fund Establishment and Operation Procedures Guidelines, 2064.
Similarly, the procedures include the urban forest development program procedure in partnership with the local level, 2077, the model agricultural forest program implementation procedure, 2077, the procedure related to grants for the promotion and development of forest-based enterprises, 2075, the procedure for announcing and awarding community forest activists, 2074, the operating procedure for surakhi expenses, 2072, and the procedure for providing protected forests for commercial purposes, 2068.
