The chief whip of the main opposition Maoist Center in the Federal Parliament, Hitraj Pandey, has questioned the Home Minister as to who is the main planner of the demonstration held by the Rajawadis at Tinkune on March 15.
In Friday's meeting of the Public Order and Good Governance Committee, Pandey demanded that action should be taken to find out the main responsible for the demonstration of the monarchists. 'Who is the main planner of that demonstration ? Who is the main planner, who took the responsibility? Pandey asked the Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar. Who is the main planner should come .'
Pandey also questioned why Durga Prasai, the so-called public commander of the demonstration, did not control half of the statements made in the past. Pandey said that the statement came from a government official as to why Prasai, who rammed the vehicle into the police, was not arrested immediately and that he was making plans after he escaped.
Pandey has also asked the Home Minister whether an inquiry commission will be formed to investigate the incidents of vandalism, arson and looting committed by the royalists. A judicial inquiry commission was formed in the Bal Kumari incident. Will there be an inquiry commission or not?,' he said.
Pandey has also demanded an answer regarding the shooting of people who were not involved in the demonstration. He asked why outsiders were not prevented from participating.
Pandey said that his analysis is whether the arson and damage to the central office of the United Samajwadi Party, a component of the Samajwadi Front, happened when the security personnel arrived on time.
