The outgoing Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, has said that all the powers of the state have been used to remove him. Addressing a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday, Kulman said that the responsible persons of the state used the rostrum of the Parliament to abuse him. His signal was towards Energy Minister Deepak Khadka and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who criticized him in Parliament.

"How was the entire power of the state imposed on an employee engaged in the work specified by the laws of Nepal?" The Nepalese people themselves are clear about whose interest and service they attacked me. How did the rostrum of the sovereign parliament be used or misused by the responsible persons of the state to abuse the executive director of the authority ? The Nepalese people themselves are eyewitnesses,' he said.

He also said that even though he has resigned as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority, he will never forget his work and duty as a citizen. "The love and blessings given by the Nepalese people have not allowed me to lose." I have only resigned as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority, my work, duties and responsibilities as a responsible citizen will never diminish,' he said .

He also says that he is not excited and discouraged by the government's latest steps.  "As an honest national servant, I have not done anything to regret when reviewing my tenure, I have not wasted a single moment of taking advantage of opportunities and rights," he said .
