Inspector General of Nepal Police Deepak Thapa said that 30-40 people were arson and looted during the demonstration held by Rajawadi on Chait 15.

In Friday's meeting of the Public Order and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives, Inspector General Thapa said that permission was given to hold a peaceful program but chaos was created.

After asking for permission to hold a peaceful demonstration, Thapa informed that the corresponding security strategy was adopted. However, Thapa also informed that there was going to be chaos at the very beginning of the program. "They even took the route and the venue saying that they will hold the program peacefully. Since the Samajwadi Morcha also has a program, a security strategy was made so that there would be no clash, Thapa said. A small procession was taken out and a stage was also built. We gave security accordingly. The peaceful demonstration turned into mobs, violence, looting, vandalism, and arson. Then to proceed according to our strategy  Something uncomfortable happened .'

Thapa said that looting, vandalism and arson were organized by a group of a certain number of people in the demonstration. "There was a clash before the start of the program and provocative speeches were also being made while sitting on the stage. It was crowded. A group of 30-40 people were saying, ``Han here, Han here.'' Arson, looting has been done in a chaotic crowd.'

Inspector General Thapa said that the situation of the incident was brought under control within 4 hours. He informed that the situation has been brought under control by imposing a curfew. Thapa informed that a case has been registered for crime against the state and organized crime and criminal nuisance in the Three Kune incident. Thapa informed that 20 people involved in crime against the state and organized crime have been arrested and 58 others have been arrested and remanded for criminal mischief. Thapa also said that those involved in the incident will be brought under investigation.
