Nepali Congress MP and former Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat said that building a country is possible through hard work.

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 35th Foundation Day of Nepal Financial Institution Employees Association in Kathmandu on Friday, he mentioned that there is a need for hard work in the political circle as well.

He opined that honesty and hard work are necessary in both the government and non-government sectors. In addition, he mentioned that whether he is in power or not, the Nepali Congress will follow the policy of calling right to right and wrong to wrong.

MP Mahat said that political parties that move forward only when it is easy and retreat in uncomfortable situations cannot protect rights.

A country is built through hard work. There is also a need for hard work at the political level. There is a need for honesty. The non-governmental sector—the private sector—also requires hard work and honesty. Wherever we work, it should be done as my responsibility. Let's work hard, and let's warn about rights," he said.

Member of Parliament Mahat, who is also the spokesperson of Nepali Congress, said that he is also paying serious attention to the issues related to financial institutions.

Pointing out the need for financial institution employees' association to move forward with rights and responsibilities, he emphasized that service facilities should be provided according to people's expectations.
