The RPP has asked for the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar to investigate the Tinkune incident on March 15. On Thursday, RPP called the attention of Acting Prime Minister Prakashman Singh about the incident and demanded a fair investigation.

The delegation of RPP led by President Rajendra Lingden paid a visit to Acting Prime Minister Singh and drew attention to issues including incidents in and around Tinkungune. RPP also says that the demonstration on that day became violent because of the state side.

The RPP has also objected to the party's Senior Vice President Ravindra Mishra and General Minister Dhaval Shamsher Rana being charged with a serious case of 'crime against the state' based on their participation in the meeting. 

The RPP demanded the resignation of the Home Minister to investigate the incident The RPP has demanded the formation of a human rights commission and an independent investigation commission including civil society under the chairmanship of a former judge of the Supreme Court. RPP also demands the resignation of the Home Minister for investigation and the suspension of the police chief and administrative leadership who led the suppression of Chet 15. In addition to declaring the dead as martyrs, RPP has also demanded the release of leaders Mishra and Rana.
