According to the home minister's decision, the support has been provided to the families of journalist Suresh Rajak and young man Savin Maharjan of Kirtipur.
At 10 o'clock on Friday, Suresh along with his colleague Anil Rayamazhi left the Avenues office for reporting. While reporting, Suresh died in a house in Thinkune, which was set on fire by the protestors. In the post-mortem report, it is seen that he died due to burns.
Similarly, 29-year-old Savin Maharjan of Kirtipur-4 Gamcha, who was driving a Sumo vehicle on the Kathmandu-Hetaunda route, was shot dead by the police.
