UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai said that the winter session was successful in terms of legislative work. He expressed this opinion while talking to mediapersons in the Parliament building premises on Tuesday.

According to him, Parliament has passed 13 bills in the winter session, which is an important achievement compared to the past.

He said that there is no room for criticism in terms of legislative work and mentioned that the government has also presented some important bills in the winter session.

Secretary Bhattarai said, 'Parliament has passed 13 bills in this winter session. This is a very significant achievement compared to the past. If Parliament had continued today, two more bills would have been passed. There is not much room for criticism in terms of legislative work. In the meantime, this has been possible because the parliamentary committees have also held enough meetings.'

According to him, the government has presented a bill related to the Armed Police Force and the Nepal Police Force. He said, 'The two bills related to the Civil Aviation Authority and the Air Aviation Authority, which have been raised for decades to become law, but have not been made into law, the government has brought this bill.'

Secretary Bhattarai said that the Prime Minister addressing the Parliament four times is a sign of the special importance given to the Parliament. In addition, he mentioned that there was an intensive discussion on contemporary politics and various issues raised in the Parliament during the winter session.

He also commented that there was a lack of maturity and tolerance in the House of Representatives formed after 2079.
