National Independent Party MP Sovita Gautam has accused the parliament's winter session of being controlled.

Speaking to the media persons outside the Parliament building on Tuesday, she said that in the understanding of the RSVP, this session is challenging and control-oriented.

Although she felt that some processes of law-making naturally progressed somewhat according to parliamentary practice, she held the view that many other issues were presented in a control-oriented manner.

She said that the party feels that the suspension process imposed on Ravi Lamichhane is a control-oriented process.

He said, 'In our understanding, this convention was very challenging. While some of the law-making processes were felt to have progressed naturally, we felt that many issues were introduced in a controlled manner. The suspension process of our party president Ravi Lamichhane is also under control. Therefore, we have felt that the last session of the Parliament was very challenging and control-oriented in terms of practice.'

MP Gautam objected to the trend of looking at every issue from a political point of view in Nepal.
