The RSVP has demanded the speaker to lift the suspension of the party chairman Ravi Lamichhane's parliamentary post.

Lamichhane went to the Federal Parliament Secretariat Nayabaneshwar to meet Speaker Devraj Ghimire to request the suspension to be lifted.

Lamichhane's position as an MP was suspended on December 8. Lamichhane's MP position was suspended after cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering cases were registered in Pokhara.

Raswap has demanded the release saying that there is no provision for the suspension of the post of MP in the House of Representatives regulations . "There is a provision in the House of Representatives rules that MPs can only be suspended if they are sent to prison for pre-trial detention, we said that the suspension should be lifted," said Sovita Gautam, a member of the RSVP. Gautam said that since the government is misusing the suspension of parliamentarians to seek political revenge, the Speaker should stop it.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives should act according to the rules of the House of Representatives, and stop making weapons of political revenge based on other laws. The Speaker said that amendments should be made to other laws that suspend MPs. Earlier, Raswapa had demanded that the suspension of Lamichhane's post of MP should be lifted .
