The government has expressed its sincere gratitude to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government for granting amnesty to 166 Nepalese prisoners on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today saying that the move by the UAE government is an example of cordial bilateral relations.
The UAE government granted amnesty to them at the request of the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
