Nepali Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the government made a mistake by removing the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, General Minister Sharma said that the government made a mistake by removing Ghisingh to work for the remaining time. Why did Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli answer in the House on the matter pending in the court? He also asked that question. He expressed the opinion that it would not be appropriate to discuss the case pending in the court in the House.
Sharma said, 'Speaker, Kulman Ghisingh should have been allowed to work for the rest of the time. We are speaking from the ruling side — the government made a mistake by removing him. However, this issue is pending in the court. Why did the opposition ask for time in this situation? Why did the Speaker give time? Why did the Prime Minister answer the pending case in court?'
He said that in a democratic system, citizens consider the court's decision to be paramount and mentioned that the court's decision is acceptable. Speaking on a different occasion, Sharma commented that although everyone was saddened by the loss of property in the protest organized by the monarchist group in Tinkune, Nirmal Niwas was not hurt.
He said, 'under no circumstances can a monarchy be an alternative to a republic. Disappointment in the people should be resolved within the democratic system.'
