Congress MP Ramhari Khatiwada has said that when there is a crisis in the country, all the parties should come together and the parliament has been blocked due to the main opposition.
Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament building after the House of Representatives meeting was adjourned due to obstruction by the opposition on Sunday, he said that the opposition is against the practice of allowing MPs to unite and speak their minds in Parliament when there is a problem in the country.
He says that the opposition blocked the parliament by saying that instead of providing an emergency time, the speaker said. He said that even though the Speaker informed that the Prime Minister would answer in the Parliament on Monday, the opposition did not allow the Parliament to proceed.
