Before the meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Devraj Ghimire held a discussion with the chief whips of the major political parties.

In the meeting, UML Chief Whip Mahesh Kumar Bertaula informed that the Prime Minister will address the meeting on Monday. He informed that there was a telephone conversation between the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposition party regarding the opening of the Parliament obstruction. Bertaula also informed that the Prime Minister has called an all-party meeting today.

The ruling party has requested the opposition party to open the obstruction of the House. The opposition party has informed that its position remains the same. In the

meeting, the Speaker asked the parties to create an atmosphere for discussion and debate in the Parliament as the Tinkune incident that happened two days ago was an attack on democracy. He appealed to make the Parliament feel that it is alive by discussing the events that have happened to the nation. He said that the obstruction of the House is not justified under any circumstances when the House has to be conducted even when the session is not in session.
