Out of the 111 people arrested in connection with the violent demonstration by Rajawadi on Friday, the police have detained 71 people for investigation. They are going to be investigated on Sunday with a date from the District Court Kathmandu.

According to Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohra of District Police Complex Kathmandu, 150 people were arrested on Friday and 6 more people were arrested on Saturday. According to the police, 40 of the arrested persons were released on Saturday after general questioning.

"Investigations are being conducted to find out what attracts people from the cases of murder, murder industry, duty killing case, theft/robbery, robbery, arson and treason," Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General Dinesh Kumar Acharya said, "Private and government properties have been vandalized knowingly. Two people died. We will investigate those involved in the incident and proceed with the case accordingly. Everyone is investigated.'

During the violent demonstration of royalists, which resulted in the death of two people, 128 people including 55 policemen, 22 armed policemen and 51 demonstrators were injured. Among the injured, 5 policemen, 1 armed policeman and 16 protesters are undergoing treatment. For inciting the movement to be violent, the police arrested RPP Vice President Ravindra Mishra, RPP MP Dhavalshamsher Rana, Swagat Nepal involved in the royalist campaign, Durga Prasai's aide, Pashupati Khadka, Manish Jang Shahi, Seford Limbu and Santosh Tamang, who are said to be the commander of former King Gyanend Shah. Prasai is absconding.

Police Complex Kathmandu said that 18 private and government buildings were vandalized and set on fire during the violent demonstration. According to the police, more than three and a half dozen shops, organizations and offices were damaged in Tinkune, Koteshwar, Narefant, Suvidhanagar, Jadibuti, Suvidhanagar, Aloknagar and Gaurigaon areas. According to the police, the royalist protestors vandalized and looted Bhatbhateni in Koteshwar and set fire to 12 different places. Police said that 25 vehicles were completely damaged and 14 vehicles were partially damaged by the violent mob. They also vandalized 6 police vehicles. Only 13 vehicles were completely burnt inside the premises of the herb production and processing company, while 4 motorcycles and 2 scooters were also set on fire. Similarly, two fire engines of Kathmandu metropolis were also damaged by pelting stones, according to the police.

The fire that broke out in that building also damaged another house next to it. 6 private institutions in Raj Bhavan, 3 private institutions in Prabhu Complex, Central Office of Integrated Socialists, Herbs Production and Processing Center and 3 police offices were also set on fire and vandalized. Rajawadi also pelted stones at the houses of Anjali Shrestha, Nirak Shrestha, Meera Neupane, Nayan Bahadur Pandit, Sudha Pant, Hriday Parajuli, Ganesh Bahadur Dhakal, Sudarshan Golcha and others.
