UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, who is leading the government, has demanded that legal action be taken against those who participate in the royalist movement and are involved in criminal incidents and those who give instructions for the same. Pokharel also says that the movement of the royalists was violent and chaotic.

'Those who have suffered from vandalism, arson and looting by organized criminal gangs operating in the name of agitation need to be properly addressed by the state,' Pokharel urged on Saturday, 'It is necessary to bring immediate action to all those who terrorize the public, those involved in criminal incidents and those who instigate and instruct them .

On Friday, the movement of the royalists was fierce among the two in the capital. "Yesterday, there were two public demonstrations in the capital on the same day. The program organized by the Samajwadi Morcha, which is in opposition, had more people participating than the program of the royalists. The program was calm, dignified and meaningful,' says Pokharel, 'the program of the royalists was violent, vengeful and chaotic. Those who say they give an alternative to the system should be able to appeal and give a message through the movement. In that the royalists failed completely .'

"Today's age is the age of democracy equipped with public awareness". The message has to be given again that today's Nepali society is not affected by someone's vested interests, revenge or greed,' he said.
