33-year-old Suresh Rajak, whose original home was Tahachal and currently living in Chandragiri, was the head of the camera and video department of Avenues TV. Working at Avenues for 10 years, he used to take videos of major events and political activities himself.

According to Avenues editor Sushil Pandey, camera person Suresh Tinkune along with Paras Shrestha and Anil Rayamazhi were deployed on Friday to do 'field reporting' on the Rajawadi movement. Suresh was shooting a live video of the activities there. Meanwhile, a riot started near the building where Marble House is located. Suresh entered the building to shoot 'exclusive footage'. Shortly thereafter, the building caught fire. Then the tear gas was fired. Media workers and protesters were dispersed. Suresh who went inside the building became uncontactable.

Avenues TV reporters thought that he might be hiding somewhere by using tear gas. But Suresh did not return for a long time. They recorded that news in the news room of TV in Maharajganj. The search for Suresh began.

Avenues owner Bhaskarraj Rajakarnikar called Nepal Police IGP Deepak Thapa four times to request a search. Chief of Armed Police Raju Aryal also informed that the camera person Suresh is missing. I called both IGPs several times. The CDO of Kathmandu hung up. SMSed but no response. There was a feeling of statelessness," Rajakarnikar said. When the fire in the building was brought under control, Kedar Koirala, Editor-in-Chief of Avenues, along with Editor Pandey, rushed to the burning building. Suresh's body was found inside a room on the fourth floor. Everything above the knee was burnt. The camera was also burnt," Editor Pandey said, "We found the SD card of the camera." In the evening, the police recovered Suresh's body and handed it over to the family and Avenues management. They took the body to a teaching hospital for post-mortem. They were overwhelmed by the pain of losing a colleague.
