Two people were killed and 110 people including security personnel were injured in the violent movement including stone pelting, attacks and arson in Rajawadi. The deceased are Suresh Rajak, a journalist of Avenues Television and 29-year-old Savin Maharjan of Kirtipur-4.

Journalist Rajak, who was shooting a video for live broadcast, was burnt to death after the Rajawadi set fire to the house where he was staying.

Sumo driver Maharjan of Kirtipur was shot dead by the police when he tried to set fire by pelting stones at the police station in Koteshwar. 

Among the injured are 53 Nepal Police, 22 Armed Forces and 35 Royalists. 9 of the injured were shot. One of them is in critical condition. Five people who were injured by rubber bullets have been treated at the Civil Service Hospital. One of those treated there underwent emergency surgery. Others are normal. Some were discharged after treatment, the hospital said. Two people who were shot are being treated at the trauma center. Out of the two, a 27-year-old man was injured in the stomach. 

He underwent emergency surgery and was placed on a ventilator. Another one was shot in the groin and is in a stable condition. Two other people who were injured due to bullets are being treated at Patan Health Science Academy. The police arrested 17 people including Rabindra Mishra, Dhavalshamsher Rana, Swagat Nepal, Seford Limbu and Santosh Tamang for inciting the

and making the movement violent. Durga Prasai, who is called the 'commander' of the movement, switched off his mobile phone and absconded late at night. Navraj Subedi, the coordinator of the United People's Movement Committee for the Restoration of the Monarchy, has been placed under house arrest. 

The fire set in the building where Indreni Cooperative was set by the fierce and chaotic monarchists also ignited another house. Dozens of houses in Tinkunye area were pelted with stones. The royalist has also attacked the media house. They vandalized the office of Kantipur Television in Tinkune and the office of Annapurna Post in Garigaon. An arson attempt was also made in Annapurna.

There was even an arson attempt at Annapurna's office. When the demonstration became violent, the police fired tear gas. Along with rubber bullets, some rounds of 'live bullets' were also fired. Rajawadi burnt about one and a half dozen vehicles and vandalized several vehicles in Tinkune, Koteshwar, Balkumari and Jadibuti areas.

The chaotic crowd scattered from Tinkune moved towards Aloknagar, Koteshwar, Sinamangal causing riots. The mob that moved towards Koteshwar initially targeted the police station at the square and pelted stones. There, the crowd was divided into two after the police used force. The mob from Koteshwar to the south targeted the Bhatbhateni supermarket and ransacked and looted it. The mob that moved eastwards from Koteshwar Chowk set ablaze and pelted stones at the herb production and processing center at Jadibuti Chowk. 8 vehicles parked inside the premises of the herb factory were also burnt.

 The royalists who went towards Aloknagar ransacked and set fire to the party office of the United Samajwadi Party. After vandalizing Bhatbhateni, Rajawadi, who advanced towards Balkumari, burnt 7 vehicles. Rajawadi tried to enter the UML central office in Chasal but was stopped by the security personnel.

A group of violent protesters tried to enter the Maoist office in Parisdanda. When entry was not possible due to deployment of security personnel, they set fire to a Narcotics Control Bureau vehicle parked nearby. The mob that proceeded from Balkumari Chowk also pelted stones at the house of United Samajwadi Party president Madhav Kumar Nepal.

 Rajawadi, who advanced towards Sinamangal, set fire to the bush between the Civil Aviation Authority and the Tribhuvan International Airport terminal building, due to which the Kathmandu Airport was blocked for about one and a half hours on Friday. During this period, dozens of domestic and international flights and hundreds of passengers were affected, said Gyanendra Bhul, co-spokesperson of the authority. 

According to Police Spokesman Deputy Inspector General Dinesh Kumar Acharya While returning home from Sansad Bhavan to Bhaktapur, Rajawadis also set fire to the car in which the chief whip of RSVP Santosh Pariyar was riding. "Complete details of material damage including vandalism and arson by the violent royalists are yet to come," he said. Rajawadi also took away the tear gas gun from the security personnel.

 After the arson of people's houses, shops, media houses and government property from Rajawadi, District Administration Office Kathmandu has imposed a curfew from 4 pm on Friday to 7 am on Saturday in Baneshwar, Tinkune, Koteshwar and Gaushala areas. Along with the imposition of curfew, the Nepalese army has also been deployed in the streets and squares for security.
