CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the Samajwadi Front has failed the conspiracy of the royalists. Addressing the Congress of Nepal at Press Center on Saturday, President Dahal said that due to the opposition meeting of Samajwadi Morcha, the performance of royalists has weakened.

He said that he had also received information that the royalists were planning to make a big incident. He said, "The autocratic royalist elements were reducing the number of criminal cases in three corners, and the revolution and counter-revolution in the history of Nepal were once again clashing with each other with a new context." I had several people contact me this morning and said, if the Samajwadi Front had not demonstrated yesterday, it was a conspiracy by the monarchists to stage a counter-revolution in the country by reducing even bigger events.'

He said that although the demonstration of the royalists caused loss of wealth, the commitment of the republican supporters has pressured them to limit the damage to this. "Many lives were saved, many people were also saved from losing money." Two people were killed, many vehicles and houses were burnt. Offices of union organizations, party offices were burnt . But what the intellectuals told me is that if the Samajwadi Front had not demonstrated that level of republican power, the monarchists would have gained more strength,' he said.
