RPP President Rajendra Lingden claimed that RPP was not involved in the violent activities that took place during the royalist movement in Tinkune today.

In a brief conversation with Kantipur, he claimed that the people of his party were not involved. 'Ours is a peaceful demonstration, our people are not involved in violent demonstrations. It should be investigated . It will be made public,' he said . 

President Lingden urged the government to find a solution to the protestors' demands through dialogue. "I request the government to make all kinds of demonstrations peaceful, the government to exercise restraint and address the demands of the protesters politically, not through repression." I request the government to find a solution through dialogue,' he said.

2 people including a journalist have been killed and dozens have been injured in the clashes in Tinkune today during the Rajawadi movement. Physical structures of private houses, party offices and media offices have also been damaged.
