Both the police and the protestors were injured in the clash at Tinkune. Human rights organizations reported that Nepal Police, Armed Police and protesters were injured in the clashes.
Some of the injured are being treated at Kantipur Hospital in Tinkune. The situation became tense after the royalists tried to break the designated perimeter in the Three Corners area. Protesters have even pelted stones at the police to break the cordon set for the demonstration. The police fired tear gas to stop the protestors.
