However, according to the law, the deadline for investigation of crimes related to caste discrimination and untouchability is 25 days, but the District Police Office, Siraha, submitted the report to the District Attorney's Office, Siraha within 6 days on Thursday.
After receiving the police investigation report, the public prosecutor studies it and sends it to the police again if there are any errors, and if not, the charge sheet is filed in the court. However, in other cases, the public prosecutor, who spent at least two to three days studying the report, filed the charge sheet in the court on Friday, the morning after the police submitted the report.

'The report was received by the public prosecutor only yesterday, we thought that the public prosecutor would study it for two/three days, we got the same information when we inquired,' he said, 'We had prepared to hire a private lawyer for this, but we were confused when we heard that it would be closed today, we were led astray.' Deepak's house was demolished by village head Shivji Yadav, former ward president Dilip Yadav and Bajrangi Baba using the dozers of the village.
