Government will rein in employees who try to get established by propaganda: Energy Minister Khadka

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has said that the competition between the employees is not established by work but by propaganda. Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu on Thursday, Minister Khadka said that there is a scramble among employees to establish themselves above the law.

He urged them to compete for establishment by working and not by propaganda and media. 'I also look at the staff friends, there is a competition to be established by more propaganda. It will not lead the society anywhere . Let's compete on who will be established by really working, I request. If it does not happen, it is the government's responsibility to rein it in and put it in the right place . The work should be done together, but in a disciplined, dignified manner and work within the law . Let your attention be paid to it,' he said.

This expression of Minister Khadka came when Kulman Ghising was publicly criticized after the removal of Kulman Ghising as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority.

Minister Khadka said that within the year 2035, we are working with the goal of reaching 28,500 megawatts and per capita electricity consumption of 1,500 units per year. He said that the government is moving forward with the goal of providing access to electricity to 100 percent of the country's households within the next two years.
