Bharata of Bara moved to Baglung, struck up a friendship with Farak Bahadur

Baglunge's 'Aichch Ka, Gaichch Ka'. Bharat Yadav, who migrated from Bara to Baglung three decades ago, has now become accustomed to speaking in such idioms. 67-year-old Farka Bahadur Shris from Baglung has been languishing in the isolation room of Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences for a week. The Yadavs who came to treat Farak Bahadur by raising donations are themselves living in Kurua.

He came to Baglung 31 years ago from Bara, he works as a mason, Farka Bahadur is also a mason. The two met 18 years ago in Baglung market. Farka Bahadur from Galkot Municipality-3 Righa of Baglung came to Himachal Pradesh in India looking for work in the 50s. Worked. Joined All India Nepal Ekta Samaj near Maoists. After the Indian government banned the organization, he became active in the Maoists under the name of Nepali People's Rights Security Committee. In 062, the party assigned him Rukum-Rolpa.  After the

party was opened, he was released from Pokhara stadium in 063 . He returned to Baglung after taking charge of the labor organization. Became the District President of All Nepal Trade Union Federation. At that time he met Bharat Yadav . Bharat, who was working as a mason, was organized by Farka Bahadur into the All Nepal Construction Workers Association. Later he became the district president of the association.

He came to Pokhara in 050 via Damauli from Bara. After coming to Pokhara, he got a job painting at the British camp for three months. After that he was unemployed for 15 days . His brother Kuldeep Yadav used to run a bicycle shop in Baglung. At that time, he paid a fare of 27 rupees and reached Baglung Bazar from Pokhara to meet his brother. There he started painting and plastering the house. After the bicycle shop went bankrupt, his brother came back. He refused to leave Baglung.

Sarita's love kept him in Baglung. He had come to work as a mason at the school being built in Tarakhola, west of Baglung Bazar. Bharat Yadav and Sarita Vishwakarma's love sprouted there. He is a non-Dalit from Madhesh, Sarita is a Dalit from the hills. Sarita's mother-in-law accepted with a smile. After 8 years of marriage, he did not dare to take Sarita home . "I knew that they wouldn't let me live in the village because I got married as an untouchable."

Two months after his wife returned to Baglung from Bara, he went back to the village . Accustomed to the cool climate of Baglung, he could not bear the heat of Terai. On his way from Baglung, he wore a cap made of Bhadgaon. The friends he met on the way told him to enter the village only by opening a team. He took off his cap with Bhadgaon and put on a cap. "I didn't like the way of life and behavior there," he said, coming to the hospital wearing a black cotton hat, "I joined a piece of land and stayed here." This time he brought the immigration papers. Moved from Bara to Bhimpokhara in Baglung. He has not been back to Bara since the migration.

Since then, Farka Bahadur was left by his wife . After the divorce, he took charge of his three-year-old son Saksham. In 046, he was stricken with tuberculosis . In 076 asthma also met . Even in his illness, he did not stop working as a mason. He also started taking small contracts. The disease was spreading. Earned money went towards treatment. "I don't remember what my parents were like," he said in unclear words from inside the oxygen mask. He also left studies in the middle .'

Bharata of Bara moved to Baglung, struck up a friendship with Farak Bahadur In the afternoon, he fell ill with respiratory problems. The Maoist helped him a lot in his treatment . Last December, he came to Pokhara's Gandaki Medical College for treatment for a month. Apart from health insurance, 45 thousand rupees were spent. Since then he has not been able to work . 4 months of room rent has gone up in Baglung Bazar . They were living off the food collected at the initiative of the local media.

He could not leave the room since the first week of March due to the lack of treatment funds and helpers to take him to the hospital. Bharat was heartbroken to know about his condition. On March 6, he collected donations in Baglung market by miking. Collected Rs 20,000 in four hours. On the initiative of local journalist Anish Khati, 10,000 rupees were collected. The next day, carrying 30,000 rupees with him, he brought Farak Bahadur to the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.

The local leader of the Maoists said that they will arrange the Kurua . Even after five days, Kurua did not come. Bharat's mobile started ringing continuously. Calls from the place, family, and relatives who were in charge of the construction kept coming. He kept saying that he would return to Baglung soon. Among three sons and one daughter, the youngest son was electrocuted in 076 and was seriously injured. Son's treatment is still ongoing.

Free treatment was arranged for Farak Bahadur. But the medicines that are not available in the hospital had to be bought outside. Kusum Budha, Chief Whip of Maoist Parliamentary Party in Gandaki State Assembly, met Farak Bahadur at the hospital. Being a resident of her own district and a Maoist activist, she promised to help in the treatment. Minister of Health of the province Krishna Pathak also reached the hospital and met Farak Bahadur.

The doctor has said that Faraka Bahadur's right lung has accumulated water due to pneumonia. A pipe is connected to remove water accumulated in the lungs . The pipe, which should be bought outside for 10,000 rupees, has been made available for free on the initiative of the hospital's doctor. His hands and feet are swollen. They cannot stand up and walk by themselves. I have to stay in the hospital for a few more days. It has been difficult for 54-year-old Bharat Bahadur alone to get up and running. However, he is sitting in Kurua .

Farak Bahadur who once organized him in the construction workers union close to the Maoists is his "commander" . Faraka Bahadur is in the same party. Bharat changed the party four months ago . They have not changed their view of Farak Bahadur. ``I have never seen anyone as honest as him . He used to say that even if there is a loss after taking the contract, it should be given to the working person first,' he said about Farak Bahadur, 'I have not known that anyone has eaten five paise. I came here with his honesty. Now I will return after healing.'
