Scholar Gurung, the president of Nepal Tarun Dal, the fraternal organization of the Congress, has said that only those who are not approved by the people have started the movement as monarchists.  He said that those who could not get even 100 votes in the various levels of elections held after the country went to the Republic became monarchists and took to the streets.

He said this in a discussion program with workers held at Kalaiya in Bara during the preparations for the fifth convention of Tarun Dal. "In the last election, the pre-panels  While competing for the aspiration to become mayor, MP and minister, many of them could not get more than 100 votes. Today, they are the ones who are worried about whether they will get that position because they are monarchists," he said. "They are daydreaming that if a king comes somewhere, tomorrow they will become mayors, parliamentarians, and ministers." "Neighbors will not change the system," he said.
